Phoca map displaying gpx file

Excuse me if silly question but I read an information that gpx files can be used for displaying a track with Openstreetmap (sorry do not find the link at the moment) but i do not find how to set up.
If this is possible please advise a link how to do or just clarify that this is not possible.
I was searching for some time and assume it is not possible at all.

Hi,
I'm not sure if it works with GPX files, but it definitely works with KML files. So if you are able to convert your GPX files to KML format, copy this files to your:
/phocamapskml/
folder in the root auf your Joomla! installation and enter the file names into this form field:
Backend --> Components --> Phoca Maps --> Control Center --> Maps --> Your map on which you want to display KML files --> Advanced Settings OpenStreetMap --> GPX/KML Track Log Files (OSM).

Thank you Benno (Vergeltsgott :-) ),
with KML it works but also needs to define a LAT / LON coordinate in General Options to show map , otherwise error message.

And now I know where I read "GPX" ... it is in Advanced Setting OSM and so I thought both work. So it looks like GPX structure files are not supported.

Ja, das ist richtig. Ich war aber davon ausgegangen, dass die Karte bereits existiert.
