Adds to cart then no direction for user

I'm losing so many sales I have to consider a new system. Sad as Iike so much about Phoca cart.

I used the AJAX system before but was not able to fix why this broke and still doesn't work. Post here - viewtopic.php?p=183208#p183208

Can we look at getting some button added after item is added to the cart?

Hi, when I read the post, it looks like it is solved. Can I see where you get the problem? When it does not work with your template, did you test it with some standard template - for test - to be 100% sure, e.g. there are no errors inside the template, etc. etc.

I can't test with cassiopeia as I deleted it and it cannot be installed. Do you know how I can re install it?

But this is an issue I promise for everyone. CRO is very important. In a previous 'solution' the cart module was highlighted on desktop but this isn't the case on mobile. There is no clear feedback when you save an item to cart. Too many times people will keep clicking.

I think some kind of UI button or link in the message to checkout would be helpful.

You should never delete the default template.
You can try uploading the necessary folders from a full package.

Example:
media/templates/site
root/templates/cassiopeia > all files
includes templateDetails.xml, etc.

There is no clear feedback when you save an item to cart.

This must be your custom template, this is not normal behaviour.

Hi, what do you mean with, it is not normal behaviour? Which effect do you exactly mean?

1) The popup telling the user, the product was added to cart? This is core Phoca Cart feature, see options if it is not displayed on your site

2) The module icon to display details of cart? This is Phoca Cart Cart module, such can be displayed everywhere on the site (as it is module) and depends on template if it is displayed full or only an icon.

The popup is what is not normally seen to happen with standard settings. I think is only Ajax which we don't know why on my site doesnt work. Token issue caching? we dont know and unsolvable.

No Ajax, doesn't work and we don't know why it used to work. However Standard should offer better UI.

I am impressed with the platform in MOST respects but this causes issues and I get emails complaining from customers regularly who don't get how to checkout. It's not just me saying it.
