Differentiating prices by user groups in Phoca Cart (without using discounts)

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible in Phoca Cart to set two (or more) different prices for the same product, based on the customer’s user group (for example, a price for “Standard” customers and another for “Resellers/B2B”), without necessarily using the discount system.

I’ve looked through the configuration and the product tab, but I can’t seem to find where to add dedicated prices for different user groups. Does anyone know if this functionality is natively supported by Phoca Cart and, if so, how to set it up properly?

I'm looking for something similar. Here's what I need:

Products always have a general price that visitors see when they first arrive on the site.

- I have customer groups, and I want to set prices for each group individually. This is not a fixed discount or percentage off – each customer group should have a unique price for each product.

- I would like to be able to set a direct sale price for a product for a specific period. For example, if the product's regular price is 10.99€, I want it to automatically change to 9.77€ from March 26 to March 29. Ideally, I would like to do this per customer group as well.

In this case, I would also need to see the discount amount and the discount percentage.

Is there any way to directly set a timed sale price for a product?

What error message are you getting and why version 4?

Would you consider adding this?

The general scenario is that we have a webshop with about 5,000 products. Every week we receive a list of 100 products with their promotional prices, and we need to set how much each of those products should cost for the following week. This runs from Monday 00:00 until Sunday 23:59.

One of my questions is how to schedule this, and the other is that the client doesn’t provide a discount amount/percentage but rather the exact price for each product. For example, normally it’s 9.99, but next week it should be 8.54 or 9.07 or 7.77, etc. different for almos all of the products.

Did I see it correctly that I can’t set this directly, only if I calculate the discount amount and subtract it?

Unfortunately, this is such a basic requirement that many of my clients have, and without this (scheduled, directly defined discounted price), I cannot migrate them to Phoca Cart — even though I really would like to.

For now, in Phoca Cart, there is bulk price editor, maybe such can be used for such a feature as a base to develop some modified version for groups prices. But even there, the prices need to be added manually for each time phase
