Phoca Gallery not recognizing Image Folder Changes

Phoca Gallery is suddenly not recognizing changes made to image folders. Deleted folders are still shown and new folders are not shown. Folders that were there prior to the issue starting will still open OK. One folder added just prior to the start of the problem would not open at all, indicating it could be the root of the problem. I have tried to delete that folder, but as the program can't delete any folders at this point, that was unsuccessful. Any ideas on how to fix this appreciated. If I need to re-load Phoca Gallery, I assume all of the existing images and folders will be preserved?

What do you mean with ‘image folders’? The folders that are located within /images/phocagallery/ on your server, or categories that you have created in Phoca Gallery?

• Which Joomla! version do you use?

• Which Phoca Gallery version do you use?

• Which PHP version do you use?

• Since this problem suddenly appeared, is it possible that your hosting provider has changed something? Have you received any information, e.g. that a newer PHP version is to be installed?

• Did the problem occured after a migration or an upgrade of Phoca Gallery? If yes, upgrade or migration from which Joomla! & Phoca Gallery version to which Joomla! & Phoca Gallery version?

• Where exactly does the problem occur? In frontend (user control panel), or in backend (administration), or in both?
