Problem uploading image with a name already used in past...

Hi all,
I'm preparing a new site with joomla and phoca gallery. I think it's really good but I have a problem with some image size:
After I've installed phoca gallery, I've tried to upload some images to understand how it works. Then I've trashed them.
Now the site it's ready and I've added all my images to phoca.
The problem is that some images have exaclty the same name of the images that I uploaded the first time...and I see this images with a bad format in the detail view (I think something was not cleaned in the database).
At the begin I thought it was a problem of the original images but If a made copy of the image and i change the name, the copy is correclty diplayed in the detail view...

Could someone help me to understand and fix this problem ?
Maybe there is some old entries in the database ? Is it possible reinitialize it ?

Hi, maybe you should delete all original images with all original thumbnails and delete all items in image view (items which are saved into database) and then you should add new images
