At the End of Chmod ...

Hi,

i'm using Phoca Gallery since a few days, i installed it first on my localhost (Xampp) all works fine Then i upload the site to an Webserver and installed the datebase, it's all fine.

But when i want to Upload a Picture, i don't see the Thumbnails, because of the Chmod.
Soutions i found does not work, only one solution is not tested because i don't know where to change the code.

Someone writes to change the chmod of the thumbnail files after creation, sounds like an good idea, but where to do this?

Hi, first what should be done, is enabling FTP layer so you will have the same ownership of files and folders as your Joomla! then you can set chmod without any problems, see e.g. this article about permissions settings:

FTP Layer is activated in Joomla, it have to work with the backend uploader for the enduser.
It's no solution to edit the permission via FTP program for me.
