Hi,
this is not possible with a normal installation. You could try to create it by hacking some code (I wouldn't know what code).
Normal display:
- a page with thumbs
- when you click a thumb, the large thumbnail will be displayed in a popup (that could be modal box, standard popup, shadowbox, highslide)
- on the page with thumbs, you could choose to display a download button. When this button is clicked the original image will be showed in a new window.
