Access level in categories

Hello:

I just installed Phoca Gallery and can not solve this problem. Hope someone can help. Under categories I have many folders. Everytime I want to change from public to registered I have to do it manually one by one. If I arrive to 200 or more categories this might be a big task. It's easy to bulk publish or unpublish but I don't see the option to do the same from public to registered. Am I missing something?

there is not such option - but i agree it would come quite handy - not just for the phoca-gallery component...

if you are familiar with manipulating data in the database, you could change the corresponding entries there (e.g. export, edit and re-import the table, or you could write a short php--script that changes the values), but be careful and backup

Thank you very much. Yes I wonder why it has not been done as it looks it could be a very useful feature.
