View all pics instead of categories

first of all i'm new so Hi to everyone!
I would like to do so: click on a link to open the phocagallery and view all the pics inserted into the database, instead of viewing the categories.
It is possibile?

if you add everything to only one category - and then create a link to this category?

thanks for your reply, but it is not possible because users can upload their pics and I have one folder-category per user...
The only thing I have in mind is to use the php page where phoca displays the thumbnails and create an own query...

Were you able to work anything out for this?
I would like to have a category to show all images as well. I have over 1000 images with descriptions for each. The time involved in re-entering that information makes it impossible to have the images uploaded 2x. Categories that could share images/descriptions would be the way to go.

Is it possible to add some php to allow you to assign multiple folders to a category instead of one? I see that categories have ID numbers. Could it be something similar to the ability to hide categories in the menus?
Should I move this to the request features forum?

Hi,

you could add an image to more than 1 category. Then only 1 set of thumbs will be used. The problem in your case is: the description doesn't come along with adding the image another time (Phoca just creates a new database row).

It might be possible with some smart programming, querying or something like that, but I'm not good at that.
