The first time i installed phoca gallery i had success on creatting categories and subcategories and desplaying them properly (appart from the first time oppenning which still oppens uncentered).
After a permitions problem on the site one of the two categories i have is not showing the buttons on the images instead it is just showing descriptions( eg. next image, previus image, start slideshow etc) I even tryied to install from the beggining but i still get the same result. Any ideas??

Hi,
please check your phoca gallery parameters (components > phoca gallery > control panel > [parameters] button) to see if the parameter 'icon settings' is set to gif (or png), if it is not, then set it to gif
