Problem when adding images

First of all, thank you for the great component!
Problem:
I uploaded on my websites 4 gb of photos in 20 different folders. When I try to add it some folders are added without any problems but some folders are quite problematic. One photo is ok, another photo is not (see error message below), then I delete the file and it runs till the same error. Is it possible to fix it somehow?

What to do now : » If you have fixed the problem caused by

* Image (wrong type or broken image) - remove the image or upload new image via e.g. FTP
* GD Library (not correctly working GD library, not working GD functions) - install or reinstall GD library
* Permissions (no rights to write files or folders) - change the permissions of image/phocagallery folders on your server,

you can go back to Phoca Gallery. Phoca Gallery will try to create the thumbnails again.
Go to the Phoca Gallery
» If you want to go back to Phoca Gallery and you want that Phoca Gallery will not try to create thumbnails, click on
Go to the Phoca Gallery with disabling the automatic thumbnails creation
You can enable Thumbnails Creating in Default Settings again.
» If you want to fix the problem with help of Media Manager (remove the original image or upload new original image), you can go to the Media Manager.

Thank you for the link but it does not solve the problem. What link says is that I have to delete files that are not converted and order to continue process of thumbnails creation. Has anybody solved the problem?

Hi,

Phoca Gallery gives this error when it cannot create thumbs for those files. For automatic thumbnails creation the only thing you can do is to delete those files and start the thumbnails creation again.

For those files you can manually create thumbs. You can user Irfanview for example to create thumbs. If you name them the same as Phoca Gallery does and upload them to the thumbs folder, Phoca thinks these are the thumbs.
Then you need to add the images to the gallery. To make sure it works, turn off 'enable thumbnails creation'.

What parameters I should use when create thumbnails like size, resolution or something else? (also how to define what images are vertical or horizontal).
