Is it possible to add the same image in file structure to 2 categories

We have an agricultural fair site (www.drumbofair.com). For COVID reasons, we are suspending the fair this year. I would like to enlarge the number of pictures showing in the gallery plugin on the front page. Can I add the same physical image to a different category. Essentially, I would to create a special front page category with selected images from the fairs of a number of years. However, I do not want to lose my "by fair" image structure (see fair memories) tab.

Hi, yes, you can add one image to more categories, so e.g. the image title and ID will be different but the source image will be the same, e.g.:

ID: 1, Title: 001, Source: images/phocagallery/image.jpg
ID: 2, Title: 002, Source: images/phocagallery/image.jpg

Both will share one original image and the same thumbnails.
