Image overlapping the footer

Why is my image overlapping the footer? HTML / PHP / CSS?

And then click any of the "create weblogo" buttons and the picture/graph overlaps the footer! This is very frustrating and I can't figure out what's wrong. I've tried using divs, putting it in a table, adding text and breaks before and after it... nothing works.

Why isn't it behaving correctly? BTW, I'm using HTML and PHP on a site that also has CSS, but I don't know CSS.
