Image loaded properly but not seen

Hi,

could we see it where/how it occurs? Which Joomla & Phoca G. are you using?

I have the same problem.

I am currently working on the website so some changes might appear depending when you open the links below!

some times I succeed to make the pictures to appear but they are not with the sizes I need them .
The website is for "doors" so every picture should be with the dimentions Height 210 pix and Width 110 pix, on the preview category. and after I open them to be the same size 210 to 110 pix. so I do not want any change.
but I can`t do this picture First to appear, and second to be with the needed for my purposes size.

It would be amazing to have a VIDEO TUTORIALS how to solve such a problems, I mean its much more easier for every one to look on the videos, but I couldnt find such in youtube yet /:)

So please help ! :)

Images And Detail Window Size Settings
Large Image Width Set Large Image Width (Be aware, change this parameter only before thumbnails creating, it means after installing Phoca Gallery before uploading and adding images into the categories)

Large Image Height Set Large Image Height (Be aware, change this parameter only before thumbnails creating, it means after installing Phoca Gallery before uploading and adding images into the categories)

Medium Image Width Set Medium Image Width (Be aware, change this parameter only before thumbnails creating, it means after installing Phoca Gallery before uploading and adding images into the categories)
Medium Image Height Set Medium Image Height (Be aware, change this parameter only before thumbnails creating, it means after installing Phoca Gallery before uploading and adding images into the categories)

you have to set your required height/width dimensions.

After this: Thumbnail Generation Settings:

Enable Thumbnails Generation (Yes | No) Enable or disable Thumbnails Generation (Automatically thumbnails generation can be disabled e.g. in case some errors occur while thumbnails generating)

to re-create again the (previous changed sizes) of thumbnails.

Thank you for your help !
I uninstalled and installed the Phoca gallery, and now it works.

But I have a question:
Does the "Thumbnail Generation Settings" from Phoca gallery "Options"
are having effect on all created categories New and Old ?
and can I change the "Thumbnail Gen Setting" in regard to recieve new sizes of the Uploaded images and their Thumbnails for new cattegories without the previous categories to be effected by these new changes ?

and How these Thumbnail settings work with the creation of multiple categories with different sizes of the pictures and diffrent sizes of the thumbnails for the new cattegories ?

Can you give us more information also about the button "Responsive design" and how it works and how it effects the new and old created categories ?

Hi,"thumbnails generation settings" has only effect on images which do not have any thumbnails and such thumbnails will be created (or on images where you newly create the thumbnails". If you change the original images, then just run "recreate thumbnail" so new thumbnails will be created.

If you have set different thumbnails when creating thumbnails for some specific category, you should always set the specific size before creating thumbnails in specific category. So if you want, category A will have different thumbnails than category B, then set the sizes for category A, recreate thumbnails of category A, then set new sizes and recreate thumbnails for category B.

So from what I understand:
after I create thumbnails in a specific category with sizes "A" and upload the pictures into that category,
and
after that I create another New category with new sizes "B" and upload the pictures into that category,
the sizes "B" will not be implemented into the old category "A", as long as I do not press on their images "Recreat thumbnails" button.

Hi, yes, always only for newly added images are the thumbnails created (except when you select the images and recreate the thumbnails for them). So if some image has a thumbnail, it will be not newly created with newly added images.
