Direct Download when clicking download button

Hi there.

I was wondering if there's anybody who has done this yet.
I need that whenever is clicked the download button (at gallery, or inside an article with plugin), the "save file" dialog box appears.

The gallery is actually used by some lazy people, and they don't want to right-click on the original image and then click on save-as option.

Has anyone done this before?

Hi, this need to be customized... or you can use combination of Phoca Gallery and Phoca Download, so download will link to download area, see e.g.:
https://www.phoca.cz/joomla-templates

Hi Jan.

It would better be a customization what I need, my template is already chose, and can not be changed. I was looking around the code, but it's quite complex for me, plus there are 2 things involved, Plugin and Component.

I need to check if there is a budget available for this, but need to know how much would that be.

Hi, I think it will be not so easy, new icon "Download Zip" need to be done, after clicking it, the image (original image) need to be zipped on the server, copied to some folder and then it need to be added to browser for downloading...
