How to change thumbnail quality?

Hi,
First of all my compliments on this component!
I want to change the quality of the thumbnails and searched the forum.
I found the answer for the previous versions in the forum by changing parameters in a file, but can't find the right values in the new version? Can you help me?

I tried to find them, did find them in the old version, not in the latest beta release...

hi, the file (phocagallery.php) in helpers folder (in admin) is still the same...

I can't find this file. I checked all the phocagallery.php on my website and none has the mention "file_out" in it.
Could you please tell me how to change the quality of the thumbnail?

Hi,

there is a setting in the phoca gallery parameters to set the quality of the thumbnails.

It is a bit weird how the size of the files changes fast. When I put the quality on 100, the thumbnail's size is bigger than the original's. When I choose 85, it is half the size of the original's.

I am facing the same issue, I think it s weired to use a thumbnail, whatever the quality is to open in the modal box. I would think one click on a lightbox to see the real, full quality picture?

Now i ve tried to set the quality to 100 and as for Chrisse, I end up with a file having less quality than the original but 350k instead of 158
