(resolved) MySQL error

Post by ZwaZo »

Hello,

I have installed the gallery without problem and batch imported 2500+ images withinn 140 categories.

right during the middle of thumbnails creation, I get now the following error in the "images" backend view and only if I do not select a specific category.

Pagination is not appearing as well.

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 342

any idea ?

Best regards,

??? seems like some problem with tables, see them if they are ok, e.g. in phpmyadmin

Hello

I have resolved the problem by reinstalling everything and checking the picture file names.

Apparently some file namings were causing troubles to the system. I have ensured that all the files are getting regular fonts only in their name.

All the library has been imported and thumbnails created perfectly.

note 1 : do not select "all" in the picture list with such an amount of pics as it will return a blank page. (clean the cache and cookies then it's ok again)

note 2 : If there is an " ' " font in the picture title, the overlib effect wil not work for the concerned picture.

cheers,

ZwaZo
