image gallery not diplsying correctly after upgrade

Hello, i upgraded from phoca gallery 4.1.1 to 4.3.10. The site is currently running Joomla 3.6 and I will be upgarded it to Joomla 3.8.x as soon as the extensions are installed and updated correctly.

Since i upgraded to v 4.3.10 the images in category view are showing in a vertical line, like no css is applied to them. Can anyone help resolve this as the site has a very large gallery.

Workflow
click menu item to show list of categories (categories view) - this is still displaying correctly, shows a list of categories
when click on a category on the next page the images are not showing correctly

Hi,

J 3.6 is from 07/2016. Update your Joomla to current version 3.8.3 as former Joomla releases had some bug fixes and security releases.
In addition: Check your template also please. Many templates and/or frameworks had also releases.
PHP Version?

After this, you could send us your site to check the layout, CSS etc. accordingly.

php is 5.6. Template is custom from previous developer, there are no overrides

OK. Which template? I don't know about "previous developer". Problem with update to Joomla 3.8.3?

it is a custom template. yes i cannot update to Joomla 3.8.3 at the moment but is next step, apologies i thought it was resolved but it is not.

Hi,

sorry, but I can only tell you what I hv seen:

The 1st URL: category view are showing in a vertical line > there is a server problem (error 500), no CSS could be loaded.
also a custom_new.css with phoca parameters (?)
the categories view (you are using legacy view) looks OK.

The 2nd URL: category view are showing in a horizontal line > looks OK.
The phocagallery.css has only 951 lines instead of 1094.
Seems to be an old PHP 5.5.

Thank you kindly, there appears to be a problem with the SEO. I have turned them off SEO on Joomla config and it is working now. I i will investigate further. Thank you for your help
