commenting on pictures using gallery plugin

HI,
Adding a gallery to a menu-item seems to give me many more options, i.e. likes, hits, comments etc. Is this possible using the plugin?

As I want the pictures to be shown in their relevant article (as in this example towards the bottom), I have used the gallery plugin exclusively sofar, but I would like to have the same options for site visitors, i.e. likes, hits and comments.

Is this possible?
