Error while creating category

Hello all,

First of all, thanks for this component, it is very useful for me.

I used a previous version of phoca gallery and decided to upgrade into the 2.1.0 RC version in order to use the comments.
Thanks to the documentation, I success upgrade my version and display my old albums.

But now while creating a new category, an error occurred: "error during the registration of the category of the gallery" --> translate from french.

I tried to add a new entry manualy in the database and it works fine.

So I have two questions:
- Do you know how to deal with this problem ?
- Is there a way to display more precisely the errors ?

Hi,

I don't really understand your question. Have you added/updated the tables in the database manually (see: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ry-via-ftp)

So are there 6 tables jos_phocagallary_xxx available?

And then you still have a problem?

Yes that's it.

But in fact I found the solution duing the night.

After the manual upgrade of the 4 new tables (jos_phocagallery_comments, jos_phocagallery_user_category, jos_phocagallery_votes, jos_phocagallery_votes_statistics), I had to add a new row to the jos_phocagallery_categories table called "hits" manualy. ( the details are described in the install.back file).
