Title of Category View of Phoca Gallery and avatars of Categories

Hello!

I have two problems with Phoca Gallery (ver. 4.2.2). I have installed it in my Joomla Web Site (Joomla ver. 3.6.5):

but I have two problems:


1) I linked to my Main Menu Entry called "Chi sono -> Foto" the Category View of Phoca Gallery (http://www.venturaluca.com/portal/index ... temid=1141) . Anyway when I click on this menu entry the title of the web page does't appear even if I set "Yes" for "Show title" option of this Menu entry. The title should be equal to the name of the menu entry ("Foto"). How come doesn't it appear?

2) How can I have a bigger image for avatar of categories? As you can check at above link avatars are too much small.

just create bigger medium thumbnails
Delete the too small thumbs first via FTP.
then go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Thumbnails --> Images And Detail Window Size Settings -->
Medium Image Width=(set new size)
Medium Image Height=(set new size)
Save & Close
Go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Images
The missing thumbnails will be created again with new sizes.

Hi,

1) did you create only one menu item or menu links?

When you set the options, did you set the for menu link with ID = 1141 (this is the menu link Itemid=1141 which is active and which applies the options from menu link)

Yes, I created only a menu item (link) of type "Category View" (when I created it Joomla gave ID 1141 to it) and it is active. In fact when I click on that menu item a web page appears with avatars of categories that I created in Phoca Gallery, but the web page hasn't a title!! The title should be the name (Foto) of the like of the above Menu Item. I don't understand what you mean with "Did you set the for menu link with ID = 1141...?": what must I set? And where?

In your menu manager, go to item ID=1141 - should be a menu link to gallery category view and check if displaying title (page) is enabled in parameters of this menu link.

Thanks, it works!! A question: now the thumbnails are bigger, but how can I set the size of the description that appears under thumbnails of each category? In fact now the thumbnails are wider so I can insert more text (description) under them :-)

Hi, if you mean to resize fonts, then you can do it in CSS, just add larger font size to the description style
