I would like to have on my homepage a simple phrase like "site last updated on:".

Theres a lot of joomla modules to do this, but they dont work with phocca gallery.

Is there some way I could have a "site last updated: date" on my website based on phoca gallery last modification/photo addition?

You can paste description into Phoca Gallery, but if you want to display e.g. date, you need to customize it in php...

- adding code which get the latest datum from the database and will display it in the Phoca Gallery page...
