Hi, it is possible that newer version uses other API code.

Are you able to update your site to Joomla! 3.x and Phoca Gallery 4? As for now I can add you advices for latest versions (regarding latest Facebook API) :idea:

Maybe I'll try to make backup of current site and I'll try update of Joomla and Phoca Gallery. I don't now what will happen with current Joomla template. I'll be more satisfied with easier solution.
