Thumbnails for category

I am using menu link - Phoca Gallery Category Layout (This layout shows a list of all the Phoca Gallery Images within a particular Category). (sample url : http://new.phonecare.in/index.php?optio ... Itemid=309)
use login - dhruvin
pass - starbr
Here I have different categories (Mobile make)- Nokia, Samsung, Sony etc.
Now each category has sub categories - model nos.
Now the thumbnail for each category is same i.e folder icon. Can I have independent thumbnail for each category and subcategory.

Hi,

Set in the Phoca Gallery configuration the setting 'display random image as folder icon' to yes.

If you want to display only the first image see: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ories_view

Thanks for the reply. But from where it will pick thumbnails for categories. Because there will be more than 300 categories and subcategories and each thumbnail I want different (but fixed0 For e.g For subcategory Nokia 1100, i want thumbnail image of nokia 1100. Now where do I define this image. Because inside this category there will be circuit diagrams, and I dont want any of these diagrams as thumbnail for categories.

Hi,

have you read the link I provided? Then you display the first image from the category.
You only can display images, which are in the category.
