Adjusting colors

Post by Scotty87 »

I thought I had made a post about this a while back but I can't seem to find it anymore so I may have never done so...

I'm trying to modify the colors (mostly background) of the bottom section of the gallery (Rating, Comment, Upload)

There is no area in the parameters to do this. In what file (and where in, if possible) would I modify these colors?

Thanks again for a great component.

I would also like to know where I can change the order display of the gallery. It seems to do it alphabetically by default.

You can find your own post by clicking 'view your posts', or in advanced search: name yourself as author, or clicking on User Control Panel and the clicking 'view your posts'. You can do that to for another user, by clicking his name and then click 'search user's post'.

So I did that and here are the results: search.php?author_id=2070&sr=posts

The first (most bottom) post is about adjusting colors.

hi,

as admin you can change the order in the backend, just like you can change the order of your articles etc.

I'm sorry to be a pain but I've looked and can't find it. Could you specify where?

Thanks

Hi,

go to your images tab, there you see the ordering (the boxes with the numbers). Phoca Gallery uses the standard ordering of Joomla!

Hello,

No matter what order I put them in the Images in the backend (Also clicking "Save Order"). The website still display the images in alphabetical order when I load up different categories.

If this is how the order would based then it would be ordered Oldest (first) to Newest (Last) which is not the case.

I apologize,

It seems it was just because I imported a lot of files when I first installed Phoca and it must jsut have imported them in alphabetical order so it only appears to be in that order. It is in fact using the order numbers in the backend.

I guess my question would be, how would I be able to make the galleries display the images from Newest to Oldest for my members, so they see the newest ones first.
