Selecting category causes screen refresh!

I'm building a Joomla website and had planned on using Phoca Gallery but having the Select Category refresh problem as stated in this thread.

Has there been a fix for this yet? As stated above, it works in Firefox but not IE11.

Hi, does it work for you in Firefox, Chrome or Opera? If yes, then it should be Ok. If it does not work in non standard browsers, then maybe some hack needs to be done. But with hacks it is always problem. You can hack it to work in non standard browser but then you can negatively influence the standard browsers.

So maybe there must be selected other javascript method to refresh the site but of course it needs to be tested in standard browser to not break their functionality
