Phoca Front-End - Choose folder for saving pictures

Hello everyone

Well, i use Phoca since a long time. But today i need your help.

I want to offer Front-End features for the users. Phoca Gallery features, too. So far so good.

I created categories for Phoca Gallery in the back-end. The user should upload the pictures in the front-end. He can choose the category but Phoca doesnt put them in the configured folder of the subcategory. The user can create categories in the front-end but has no option to configure the folder for it. Thats not good.

Is there a way to solve these problems?

Hi, see similar posts in this forum, Phoca Gallery has independent database and filesystem layer. Category ist not the same like folder. When uploading in frontend, all images are stored in one user's folder (images can be moved from one category to another, etc., but original images stay on the same place, one original image can be used for more image instances, etc.)
