Thumbnail image fine - modal detail cropped

Morning

I am missing something and can't find the answer! I have several images in two categories - all suffering the same problem. The thumbnails are fine but the detail in the modal box is cropped at the top. Landscape mages seem to be fine but portrait always cropped. How do I alter the size of the modal box to suit? And sort of related, can one zoom the box or add scroll bars?

Hi,
You can change the size of the modal box here: Phoca Gallery Options -> Thumbnails -> Detail Window Width & Height

The modal box displays scrollbars automatically when the size of the content exceeds the size of the window. Can it be that you have disabled the scrollbars earlier (e.g. via CSS or hack)?

Thank you Benno. I will look at that. I am not aware of disabling scroll bars. I have a nasty feeling that is because some error messages are causing problems - not related to Phoca. I will do some more checking tomorrow.

Not the solution to my problem it seems. The scroll bars appear now as required but the detail is at the top of the box and truncated., I will need to come back to this.

Hi,
1.) Currently your Detail Window size is 600x600px Your large thumbnails are 630x473px. So you should increase the width of the Detail Window at least to 640x600px to get displayed the complete picture without scrollbars.

2.) Try to switch to the Joomla! Standard Template Protostar for testing, to see if the slipping of the image to the top is related to your template.
