highslide JS for mobile

Post by mickaeru »

Hi,
My problem is that with the highslide JS windows, on my mobile site it's not responsive.

If I use another kind of windows like shadow box, box plus... no problem but with highslide JS that doesn't work. You can look at :
http://www.aquarelles-moyses.be/photos/ ... 8/cyclades but on mobile or tablet, on pc no problem.
For me the effect of highslide JS is the most beautiful, then I search a solution...
Is that a parameter problem or a template problem?
Could you help me?

Hi, testing now your site, get no such problem, can you paste a screenshot?

BTW: I am planning to take a look at new version of Highslide JS, so maybe this should help.

Hello Jan,

I recently upgraded to phocagallery v4.2.2 and experienced the same problem on v4.1.1 where the images are not rendered correctly on the Detail Window when using a mobile device (highslide mobile JS). When forced to use desktop pc view it renders perfectly.

The workaround for this issue is to disable highslide mobile JS as follows;

Edited this file:

Code: Select all

.\administrator\components\com_phocagallery\libraries\phocagallery\render\renderdetailwindow.php
Replace this line:

Code: Select all

$document->addScript(JURI::base(true).'/components/com_phocagallery/assets/highslide/mobile.js');
and comment it out:

Code: Select all

// $document->addScript(JURI::base(true).'/components/com_phocagallery/assets/highslide/mobile.js');

Hi, so does it means, that if you disable the specific javascript for mobiles, the in works Ok with mobiles? Did you test it on different templates?

Anyway, thank you very much for the info.

In my situation it works perfectly on Prostar bootstap template. I tested it on various PC resolutions, mobile devices 5.1" and 10.1" screens and it works as expected.

Hi,

maybe my problem is the same???

I use Highslide JS Picture only, and after I activate, all thumbs in gallery on mobile are very small. On PC screen is everything ok.

I try to add a screenshot.

Image

Joomla 3.5.1
Phoca Gallery 4.2.2
