thumbnail hover url display

Hello. My gallery thumbnails display a url link to the image when hovered over and the link ends with ?tmpl=component. Is this a potential security issue and is there any way to hide the full path? Noticed that search bots will index this direct path with the ?tmpl=component suffix. Thank you for any advice.

Hi, no, it is not a security issue, is it standard URL address suffix - it tells Joomla! system to not display whole content (menus, main page, modules) but only component output. In fact this is the same parameter like e.g. ID parameter.
