I've defined Phoca Gallery categories in a hierarchical way (please refer to the screenshot).

Category-0 contains Category-1 and Category-2. Category-2 contains subcategories category-2.1 and category-2.2.
In categories view the images Image-1.1....Image-1.4 are used to represent Category-1 comparable to the Phoca 3-demo stile.
Analog Image-Cat2.3 and Image-cat-2.4 are used to represent Category-2.

Category-2 contains besides the subcategories those images (Image-Cat-2.1 and 2.2) that replaces the directory icons of the subordinated categories.
These images are classified as public and not authorized.
In addition the category-2 contains those images (Image-Cat-2.3 and 2.4) that are needed to represent the category in the categories view according this "Phoca-3-demo" stile.
My question is:
Is it possible to exclude those images/thumbnails (Image-Cat-2.3 and 2.4) needed for the categories view (Phoca-3-demo stile) from the category view?
The criteria are:
- a category comprises subordinated categories and certain images
- these images are classified as public and not authorized
- visible in category view are only subordinated categories represented by their individual not authorized images
- in case there are no subcategories (e.g. Category-1) all images are displayed as usual
Does somebody has an idea if this is possible and if so how?
Thx and kind regards
KarEm
