3MB limit

Does anyone know of any image resize software which would enable me to pre-size all my images to <3MB before uploading to Phoca Gallery ? All the ones I have discovered resize by H or W, not by file size.

Hi, there is java applet integrated in Phoca Gallery which can resize images before upload to the server. But because of possible problems (java applet needs to have exception in OS, etc.) it is not often used.
