Hello,
I'm testing some gallery components and would like to know if the layout is possible with phoca (mix of landscape and portrait)

Re: images layout
Hi Philippe,
The first settings I wrote already:
Phoca Gallery Options:
Category View > Different Thumbnail Height > Masonry Effekt
May be you have also to select: Category View > Category View Settings > Image Box Space > Enlarge image box height (in px)
Just try it, to get your required outcome.
There are many other possibilities, see here: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... e-joomla-3
Documentation also: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... e-joomla-3
Kind regards, Christine

Re: images layout
Thanks for the answers
I tried with 2 images (one portrait + 1 landscape)
and it returns that

and when I click on one image it's displayed on a white square, not adjusted like in the example

Re: images layout
Hi Philippe,
Did you activate (backend) "creation of thumbnails"? Mostly (after 1st installing) it is set to: "NO".
May be you can load e.g. 3 images, 2 of them with different sizes & of course 1 landscape - as you like.
After loading the images into required category: klick to: "store and close".
It's a button on the left top corner. Then the system will create automatically the thumbnails. [provided you hv activated before] see above.
Kind regards, Christine

Re: images layout
Thanks Christine
the generation was set to YES but not additionnal thumbnails
now I can see the thumbnails
BUT (there is always a but ...)
the thumb of landscape pictures were created by cropping the image and look like portrait
and last issue is the display when I click on the picture I don't have the same display than the example
I get white box with "move" "close" on top right and scrollbars on right

Re: images layout
Hi Philippe,
hmmm
Only few ideas:
Try: Phocagallery > Options > Thumbnails > Crop Thumbnails > None
Detailsview of image (Demo) = Highslide JS Outline Type
Could we see it somewhere?
Kind regards, Christine

Re: images layout
Hi Christine,
I certainly did something wrong because all thumbs are now in portrait mode
for time being, it's only on local, so unfortunatelly you can't see the result
hereafter the content of my parameters (if it can help)
Thanks!
