How to add multiple folders with jpg's at once?

Hi there,

I'm trying to add multiple photo's add once from a list of folders on my desktop.
I'm in Joomla 3.4.4 backend, in Component / Phoca Gallery / Images and press Multiple Add.

In the manual I have read:
"You can use multiple adding instead of creating category and adding one image into the category:

Go to: Components » Phoca Gallery » Images » and click on [Multiple Add] button. Now you are in Phoca Gallery [Multiple Add]. You can select the images or folder you want to add to the gallery here. If you select a folder and this folder contains subfolders and images, Phoca Gallery creates Category from selected folder, Subcategory from included subfolder and adds all the included images into this Category (Subcategory)"

But I'm only able to select multiple jpg's, per one folder at a time.
I won't succeed in selecting a folder (or multiple folders) to add them all at a time.

Am I wrong in interpreting this possibility?
Am I missing something in the user interface how to do this?

See the image:

Choose folders and press Save & Close button.
All folders and contained subfolders, sub-subfolders will become Phoca Gallery categories, subcategories etc. Thumbnails of contained images will also created automatically.
