[J!3.4.3, PG 4.2.1] Missing navigation & back button

Hello everybody,
this is my first post in the forum.
First of all I want to congratulate Jan and everyone spending their time to develop and update this wonderful component.
I use PhocaGallery since 2009 in a Joomla 1.5 site but now it's time to upgrade to Joomla 3.
I followed the instructions for migrate extensions from Joomla! 1.5 to Joomla! 2.5 (1.7) and from Joomla! 2.5 to Joomla! 3.
All is ok but there some problems to fix.

In Category View although they're enabled some items are missing
- Back Button to parent category is not displayed
- Navigation is entirely missing (navigation, pagination and the new ordination menu)

The problem occurs regardless of the template that I use.
How can I do to solve these malfunctions?

you wrote, it's enabled, but look again here:

Display Back Button (Yes | No) Display or hide the back button to the parent category in Category View
Display Categories Views Back Button (Yes | No) Display or hide the back button to the Categories View (in Category View)

Of course, I correctly set those parameters both in "Phocagallery > Options > Category View" and in "Menu Manager > Options":

I'm not sure, but try following:

a) which Menutype do you have?
b) screenshot (1) Display Categories in Categoriy View: No. Just try
c) Menümanager seems to be OK.
d) Breadcrumbs:

(I tried it locally on testsite): It will only work (even you have enabled it in Menue options):
Try: (my backend is in german) Modules > Breadcrumbs > activate > position: your position > show last element (similiar) > yes
> Menueassignment (Menüzuweisung) > e.g. Your gallery menue [or all menues it depends, on which menues that the breadcrumbs are shown]

e) Display number box > Categories View Settings > Display Category Description In Box

So, this were just the 1st ideas

Yes, perhaps this one: Double check the Back Button settings:

Then it's very difficult to answer. Do you receive any errors during migration?
Try to do the migration once more and look for differences in the result....

I've already double-checked these Back button settings: nothing doing

No, I did not receive any error during double migration (J1.5 > J2.5 > J.3), all data is OK.

Yes, I've already tried a new migration

I can create a custom html Back button in each category description but what about navigation? What can I do?
Some categories contain more than 500 images......

Have you personally tested PG 4.2.1 on Joomla 3.4.3?

Of course! For example the personal website of me and my wife is also migrated from J1.5 to J2.5 to J3.x.
And of course it's PG 4.2.1 on Joomla 3.4.3
Bt unfortunately I have no more ideas why migration in my case went well and in your case failed in some way. (If the reason is the migration...)
