Hello,
I am using Phocagallery 4.1.2 on Joomla 3.4.3
I have, through the batch adding (with thumbnail creation) importated quite a big set of images to my site. After that all good was good at first.
Several days later, when I was keep on adding further images the problem started, that when I open the images view in the backend (index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=phocagalleryimgs) it takes ages and eventually times out.
Is there any way to avoid this and/or to find out which (I assume) database queries take that long?
I don't necessary need the images view at all. The only functionality I need and I cannot use now anymore is the batch adding (by providing Phocadownload with a folder I have uploaded in FTP and let it add all images to a certain category).
Is there a direct link to that batch functionality which I can use?
Thank you very much!
Regards,
M3TA

Re: Images View in Backend does not load anymore
Hi, try to see info page of Phoca Gallery administration, there you can set all the options to default.
Normally, when e.g. the pagination is set to 20, there is no problem to load the images, but if enabled in Options, Phoca Gallery can automatically search for not made thumbnails, etc. - if this is disabled, then it should do the trick - you can enable the pagination thumbnail creation too.
Just try to see similar posts here in this forum.
