Images not being created.

I am uploading new images to my website. However, all I'm getting is getting empty place holders.

I first upload the images to my host prior to working with Phoca Gallery. I then create the categories and sub-categories. I then go to "Multiple Add" and drill down to the directory where I have my images. Granted, its been a couple of years since I've done this, but in the past I remember being able to select the images that were in that directory, add a title, and select the category that I want them to go to then select "Save and Close". Phoca Gallery would then create thumbnails and I would have images on my site. However, this isn't working the way that I remember having done it in the past.

I can do everything with the exception of selecting images that are already in the directory. I can select the directory itself, but when I select "Save and Close", I just get empty place holders. If I try to go into the directory that has the uploaded images, I just get sent right back to the top of the category's. Thumbnail creation status is on. Also, I just upgraded to the most recent version, 3.2.8.

if 'Enable Thumbnails Generation' is really set to 'Yes', check:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Info
All lines except the first, should be highlighted in green there.

I'm not sure were the backend is. This this within Phoca Gallery, or withing Joomla itself?

It took me a while before I finally figured out what you were talking about. I finally found the page that you were talking about. One line, other than the first, was red, -> Pagination Thumbnail Generation. I enabled that option and tested. No change to my problem. I am still having problems creating the images.

Hi,
if 'Enable Thumbnails Generation' is really set to 'Yes' in Phoca Gallery Options, you only need to go to:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Images
and the missing thumbnails will be createted automaticly.
