Publish category containing only subcategories, no image
Is it possible? I need to publish Category containing only subcategories, but no image directly. This is intended for a primary school, first level categories are named according to a school year (2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016) and they contain only subcategories names according to a school events. How I can manage it? I only succeeded to publish from front end only categories containing images.

Hi, not sure if I understand correctly, as default such categories are published - you cannot see there image as there is no image but you can see subcategories there and if you click them, you can navigate into the subcategory

Re: Publish category containing only subcategories, no image
My problem was caused by empty subcategories (I created them just for a test) and by parameter 'Display Empty Categories'. After adding some images to a subcategory, the problem was sorted out.
But one more question regarding main categories (school years) and subcategories (events falling into a specific school year). I would like to use Mosaic Effect for both categories and subcategories, but it seems that Phoca Gallery treats subcategories (i.e. categories that have a parent category) as images when they are displayed in the front end. At least I am not able to display them using Mosaic Effect, even that main categories are displayed correctly using this effect. Can I change this behaviour so that both categories and subcategories are displayed using Mosaic Effect?
To understand my questions better, you can look at http://joomla.horackova.cz/galerie.

Hi, for now there is no such option, so this needs to be customized.
