Thumbnail generation failure

Hi, Have uploaded a few pictures but it isn't generating thumbnails. I get the picture of Harrlem, with stop generating thumbnails link but it never progresses further .

Any ideas why?

Hi,
check if 'Thumbails Generation' is enabled
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Thumbnails --> Thumbnail Generation Settings --> Enable Thumbnails Generation=Yes

Yes it is. That gives me the Harrlam page. If I turn it off no Harrlem page.

In either case no thumbnails. Is there some constraints around image file size?

This are the limits for fronent upload (Not sure, but I think for backend upload it's the same..)
Max size (original images)=3mb
Max res.=3072x2304px

I don't think I broke that limit. I uploaded via FTP.

If the image was bigger than 3Mb would that cause thumbnail generation to freeze on the picture of Harrlem page though?

This is not easy to answer because maybe it depends on resources (php memory) which your server have (enough), or have not (enough)..
But please check one more thing.
For thumbnail creation a proper working GD-Library is necessary.
Go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Info --> Phoca Gallery - Information -->
All options should be highlighted in green there, except Enable Thumbnail Generation which should be highlighted in red.

Everything green except Clean Thumbnails and enable thumbnail generation.

Joomla System Info says GD Version bundled (2.1.0 compatible)

Hi, I deleted all the files and reuploaded. This seems to have done the trick and generation now working.
