How to see category preview in a module without using link

Hello there
first of all sorry for my english, i hope u will be able to understand what i write

I installed both phoca gallery component and phoca gallery image module, cause i'm not sure i can get what i want to reach..

I have a custom module in joomla where i put inside a position-module . I want let show a category preview inside that module.
I created a category folder, uploaded the images and i created a module menu that i put in my custom position-module. At this point i created a main-menu with the relative phocagallery type and i linked it to the module menu.

Now i see the link in the position i want, and if i click on it i can see the page with images but i'm asking if is possible avoid this step... i mean , i don't want show the link to the page , but i want the preview in that position bypassing first step, in order to open shadowbox directly from there.

Is it that possible?

Hi, when you will use Phoca Gallery image module and you set it so that clicking directly opens the detail window, then it should work the way you need
