Backend --> Phoca Gallery --> Parameters --> Overlib Effect Settings --> Overlib Overlay Opacity=as you like (e.g. 90%)
Backend --> Phoca Gallery --> Parameters --> Overlib Effect Settings --> Overlib Image Size=try out(e.g.1/2)
Save your settings!
