Decrease Number of displayed items (<5)

Hi,

I've been searching for two hours now, but I'm unable to find the solution.
I would like to decrease the number of displayed images in my category.

I've changed the component parameters (pagination - default value) and the menu parameters to the same value, 4.

But Phocagallery is still showing up 5 images/page.
Could someone help me out ?
