Deleting Files from server

Hey all,
I figured out almost everything from PhocaGallery except one thing.
When I upload images and add them to a category, everything works fine.
But when I delete these images from the category (in the Phoca gallery images screen) they dissapear from the category but they are still on the server. I can see this with my ftp server and when I select multiple add..
Is there a way to completely delete an image from the backend?
