I'm having a problem trying to figure out how to remove the white from behind the shadow image...
could someone please help me.. this is what I am talking about...




Also.. I need to know how to remove the hover over the image popup...

Hi,

in the parameters sections Category View Settings (List of Images) set the Background color value to transparent - then the background should be as you want it.

What exactly do you mean with "hover over the image popup"? The bigger image appearing when hovering the mouse over a thumbnail?

and yes the big image that comes up when you hover over the thumbnail...

It seems like the changes I make are not taking effect... but they are there when I reopen the parameters... I'm so confused!! SORRY!!

Yes, this is the correct section. Do you open the gallery using a menu link? The links have their own set of parameters - please have a look there, maybe there are another values than those you set in the general parameters section. If that doesn't help - please post a link to the site where that occurs.

Regarding the hover issue: this is the so-called overlib feature. There is another section in the parameters called Overlib Effect Settings where you can select if that overlib is displayed at all, and if yes, what is displayed in detail.
