Hi,

I have lost my config settings and would like to know how to achieve the following:
Upgraded to v2.6.2

Gallery main page:

4 items / Links / Images that says: 2007 2008 2009 2010

Then when I click, say on 2008, I get the next window with the following on it:

Items / Links / Images that says: A B C D E F G (the same applies if you click on 2007, 2009 and 2010)

Now whn I click on A, I will see all the images in A, go back and click on B, I will see all the images in B and so on

Any help appreciated

:)

Hi,

if I got you right then you need only to create the corresponding folder and category tree:

Folders at top level:
  • 2007
    2008
    2009
    2010
Below each of those the next folders:
  • 2007
    • A
      B
      C
      D
      E
      F
      G
    2008
    • same as for 2007
    2009
    • same as for 2007
    2010
    • same as for 2007
Then put the pictures into each of the subfolders where you want them to be displayed. If you transfer that folder structure via FTP into the Phoca Gallery images directory you will get the same category structure and therefore navigation structure in your photo gallery.

Ronny

Thanks for the response

The directory where I need to put the structure - is it:

root/images/phocagallery/then my structure

I tried this but nothing is visible.

Also when I create a directory from within Phoca. I cant see the directory via ftp?

Any suggestions

Ok, if you could upload the structure via FTP (was this successful?) you need to add the pictures to Phoca Gallery using the "Multiple Add" button. Then authorize the pictures and you should be able to see them.

Thanks for the reply.

My problem is that when I create a category via the Phoca Control Panel, I cant even see where it is created, but I can see it on my site.

When I load my files via FTP, I do not see the directories on my site.

Just going to do another try
