Uploaded pictures not showing/existing

First off, let me just say that this in an amazing product and it fits every little need i have. The situation is as follows. I run a Joomla! site for a supporter group to a football and hockey team. We travel to their games and on these journeys we take pictures, and lots of them. I have searched for some time for a mod like this, that is easy to set up, easy to use and is nice looking.
Anyways, today i downloaded this mod, installed it and started to redo our image gallery. We are talking 116 categorys and over 3.500 images. I started by created the categorys, i then realized i had to upload the images via ftp to the phoca-folder so that i didnt need to create the categorys twice (since i had to assign the images/create thumbnails to a category). And here my problem occured.
The first 4 categorys went great, no problems. But as i started assigning the images for the 5th categorys they started showing up as not working. They are just grey images. You can see what i mean here: click here (Check the categorys for "2000", thats where i started, and it worked great)
The images are uploaded via ftp to my server, and they are 100% working, i can see them when i reach them via a browser, as you can see here: click here - That is the same image in the link above, that is showing up grey.
I have read the Phoca Documents 4 times now but i cant come up with a solution, so please, dont let me change gallery mod, because i really liked this one.
Any suggestions? Any response is highly appreciated! Thank you
