increase image / thumbnail size

I am new to joomla and Phoca. I have found my way round Phoca which I have found easy to use but have an issue when I load photographs up some of my pictures do not fit the size of the images / thumbnails and at times I have got the top of the picture missing until I open it up in the gallery. Then it appears ok. Can anyone let me know if there is a way of increasing the size of the images area or thumbnail size to stop this from happening or is it something I am doing wrong.

Hi captain carlseberg,

1. phoca gallery by default crops the small and medium thumbnails to a square image (you can change this in global configuration -> see documentation)

2. if you want to change the size of your thumbnails: there's a guide on resizing thumbnails in the documentation

Many thanks for providing the place where to find the information. As explained I am new to joomla and Phoca so
it did take me a bit of time to find it and work out what to do, but I did it eventually.

Many thanks again.
