Hi,
the categories page cuts the list of showed categories at the value set in options-categories view-pagination default value but doesn't display any pagination button. Can you fix it please?
On the other hand, pagination of the pictures in category view works like a charm.

Let me ask another question: do you plan to deliver a downloadable standard template for phoca gallery 6.1.2 in order to let us develop new custom layouts?

Display Pagination (Categories View) - Categories=Display
in options of your menu link to Phoca Gallery Component?

Go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Themes
and install theme_standard
Then go to: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Styles
and publish theme_standard and unpublish theme_simple
