Any help much appreciated. When sending from a guest account on Phoca Cart I get the error message that the cart could not instantiate mail function. This occurs if the mailer is set to php or SMTP. The error does not occur is the user is registered on the site. With a registered user both SMPT and Php mailers work.

Hi, Phoca Cart does not use own feature for sending the emails, all are sent by Joomla feature and the settings in Joomla Global Configuration is valid for this.

Do you have some access to mail debug information, maybe there can be some problem with email adresses (when sending). BTW which version of Phoca Cart do you use?
