I have the exact same issue after updating earlier today

Try again:
Images >Filter options > Select category > Select (Sub)Category.
Multiple Add etc.

Options > Check For Update

Jan: My display shows:
Current version 5.0.0
Your version: 5.1.0

Nevertheless, creating new category & loading images etc. was successful.

in addition to above post:

confirm: 0 Class "PhocaGalleryPhocaGalleryFile" not found
when using: "Recreate thumbnails"

Does the observations signaled by icid the 29 May 2025 at 08:10 with the title "Thumbnail recreate or create" which implied lighted replies, could have a technical link on resolution point of view, with the observations signaled 5.5 hours BEFORE with the title " Add a description to an image " signaled the 29 May 2025 at 02:40 since those last one generate "invisible replies" except my own ?

In an other word, does the version 5.1.1 of the component is supposed to solve the observations done into the thread called " Add a description to an image " or, does the solution i explain by replying to myself should be follow like using version 5.0.3 instead of version 5.1.0 or 5.1.1 ? . . .

Simply download the fixed package 5.1.1
https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaGallery ... v5.1.1.zip

and install it via package installation over the existing one.
